ACR+ is founded by Gizem Begüm Boylu and Sarper Yalçınsoy, whose partnership began during their master’s studies at Politecnico di Milano. What started as an encounter in Milan evolved into a shared vision about the inseparability of architecture, culture, and research.
Before converging in Italy, each had carved distinct paths—Gizem through media and cultural production, Sarper through architectural practice and academic inquiry. After their degrees, they continued to expand in different directions: Gizem collaborating with renowned studios across event production, architectural, and cultural space design; Sarper deepening his engagement with spatial research and teaching in the history of art and architecture.
In 2025, they brought these trajectories together, returning to their origins to establish Office ACR+ in Çanakkale, a practice rooted in a specific place but operating without borders.
