The plot is located on a hillside near a small town. It is overlooking at Çanakkale Strait, although the view is on a diagonal direction to the plot’s orientation.

The clients have asked for a twin villa design. The challenge was to provide both villas with a vista towards the strait despite the plot’s orientation, while providing a near-identical design and areas for both.
We proceeded with identifying the buildable zone, deciding on the orientation, and the division of the building to provide the view for both while keeping them identical.
Considering that the view was going to be enjoyed mainly in living areas, we decided to follow the plot’s orientation, but provide a rotation towards the view for the living areas.
Hence, for the ground floor, we kept the private areas on the south side of the plot while the kitchen and living areas took place on the north, turning towards the view.
The basement, which is accessible from the street level due to a steep slope, contains technical areas, storage spaces, and a car park.
The upper floor provided space for additional bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, and an additional, more private balcony facing the view.
